Daisy helps both local and national charities
Daisy is proud to be a public-spirited company with a very strong commitment to helping local and national communities. We believe it is essential for a large and growing business such as our own to promote and financially support good causes, including local and national charity events.
Daisy is pleased to provide ongoing local support to Pendleside Hospice and Barrowford Celtic Juniors FC as its sponsored charities. We also do everything possible to encourage fundraising activities by our staff for other charitable causes, holding a dress-down day every month with employees choosing which charities benefit from the monies raised.
Daisy has been pleased to support many fundraising events, including:
- Movember – raising funds to fight prostate cancer and other cancers affecting men
- Going for Gold – raising money for The Prince’s Trust to help young people
- Jeans for Genes Day – raising awareness for the charity aiming to change the world for children with genetic disorders
- Sparks charity football event – main sponsors, raising funds for medical research to improve children’s lives
- Bring a pound to work day – raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support
In just the past year alone Daisy and its employees have raised money for such diverse charities as Cancer Research, Help for Heroes, the NSPCC and many more. Daisy also participates in high-profile national charity events such as Comic Relief and BBC Children in Need.
