Includem Case Study


Includem is a Scottish charity set up ten years ago to support Scotland’s most vulnerable teenagers; youngsters who have chaotic lives and are at risk to themselves and the community because of risk and persistent offending. Includem, in partnership with local councils and the Scottish Government, currently supports 500 young people across Scotland.

The Challenge

When Includem’s mobile phone contract came up for renewal with its current supplier a tender was put out for a replacement provider.

The charity was looking for someone who could offer them substantial cost savings, supported by a strong customer service team who they felt they could call upon with any concerns and trust that any problem would be dealt with in a reasonable timescale.

Francesc Mariscal, IT manager, said: “The quote we received from Daisy Group plc when bidding for our mobile phone contract was very good indeed and they have certainly helped us save a lot of money.”

The Solution

Daisy Group plc offered the charity a package which would suit their budget, which would give them the new hardware they required and a service credit which would help reduce their monthly service charges.

It was vital that the charity’s 321 connections each maintained the same mobile numbers due the nature of the service they provide and that the transition was quick and smooth.

Francesc said:  “After accepting the quote we were told very quickly what the next steps would be and we were always kept up-to-date at every step of the way.

“The migration process was made very easy for us; we just provided Daisy with the PAC codes and they did the rest.

“On porting day our numbers transferred seamlessly and by early evening all numbers had been ported over successfully.”

The Result

Includem have enjoyed a fruitful relationship with Daisy now for several years and are more than happy with the service they receive.
Francesc said: “The support we have received since moving our contract to Daisy has been very good indeed.

“The customer support has been excellent and we feel confident that any problems, queries or issues we have are quickly resolved within a day and if this is not possible, that we are kept updated on progress.
