Using our partnerships with the best-of-breed suppliers we can offer our customers a highly flexible cloud computing solution. Your business can build its own virtual data centre and using our user-friendly portal you can create the foundations of your own cloud and take control of your virtual resources, creating your own virtual machines. We offer our customers full resiliency and high performance by using the latest hardware, all stored securely within our three UK-based accredited data centres in Manchester, London and Southampton. And if your business already has its own cloud software in-house we are able to incorporate this into the CloudSelect platform to create a highly adaptive hybrid cloud. We are also able to offer you the option of replicating your data, ensuring resilience and recovery should anything go wrong. The technical detailWe work with industry-leading suppliers including VMware, Cisco and NetApp. The combination of VMware’s vCloud Director and Daisy’s CloudSelect hosted platform, allows your business to build its own virtual data centre. Through our online portal you can create the foundations of your cloud by deploying the compute elements (CPU and RAM) and a Storage Area Network (SAN) for your applications. You can also take control of your virtual resources and create your own virtual machines, or vApps instantaneously using your own templates, VMware images or alternatively, CloudSelect’s own catalogue of system images. We offer our customers full resiliency and high performance by using the latest hardware; Cisco’s high speed Unified Computing System and NetApp’s Enterprise SAN. This hardware containing your data is then stored securely within our three Tier III accredited data centres in Manchester, London and Southampton. If your business already has its own cloud software in-house, such as VMware vSphere, we will still be able to incorporate this into the CloudSelect platform to create a highly adaptive hybrid cloud. Through our full Enterprise Plus licensing from VMware we can offer you extra support with a High Availability (HA) level, automatic Dynamic Resource Scheduling (DRS) and vMotion to guarantee high resiliency and service to your infrastructure, with SLAs ranging from 99.99% to 99.999%. Effective vShield technology is provided to deliver a port level firewall and perimeter protection and simplify your private or public cloud deployment. An additional layer of security is also included as standard in the form of Cisco’s firewall service. Due to Daisy’s hosting resources, we are able to offer you the option of off-site replication of your critical data to provide a completely resilient cloud solution. Choose your own realistic Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) to ensure the security of your data.
